Accomplishments

Texas Orthopedic Hospital proudly announces its top 50 ranking for Orthopedics in U.S. News and World Report's "America's Best Hospitals Survey" for 2009-2010.  Out of 1,600 hospitals nationwide, Texas Orthopedic Hospital was recognized as one of only two hospitals in the state to make the Top 50 list for orthopedic procedures.

Additionally, Texas Orthopedic Hospital has been recognized by Healthgrades for excellence in Total Joint Replacements and Spinal Surgery for 2009.

Texas Orthopedic Hospital received the "Award of Excellence" by the Texas Medical Foundation (TMF).  This recognition is based upon core measure performance for 2008-2009 in such areas as patient safety and infection rates.

Texas Orthopedic Hospital has received "The Choice Award" being recognized as one of America's most customer friendly hospitals by the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers (AAHCP).  This award is based upon the review of six principal areas of consideration:  Standards of Conduct, Performance Management and Improvement, Staff Development and Training, Systems of Communication, Good Citizenship and Educational and Promotional Materials available to consumers.
