Doctors Hoover, Lipscomb and Muscat Receive Certificate By The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
Gregory K. Hoover, M.D., A. Brant Lipscomb, M.D., and Joseph O. Muscat, M.D., each received a certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) was founded in 1934. It is a private non-profit corporation that exists to serve the public interest by examining orthopaedic surgeons and certifying that they have met certain standards of education, training and practice. The boards role is to to evaluate the knowledge, skills and practice of individual surgeons for the good of the public.
Gregory K. Hoover, M.D., specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, and minimally invasive joint replacement surgery.
